I like that little tool/parts tray on your shop stool.

Today I attempted to fix a spot that the paint underneath was peeling on the 308. I also tested the throttle after I tightened the pivot. So far so good on that it stays at full throttle instead of creeping down.

I had to push-shovel a lot of 3-4” snowfalls that were quite wet.

You should enjoy the quick clean ups with a blade for those pesky type storms that don't leave huge piles of snow from plowing it.

What did you spray on the underneath of the deck? Looks nice

That is old used motor oil.       I'll let is soak and dry in the sun for a few days before storage.

Bar and chain lube works well too and doesn't run but it has gotten pricey .

Old drained lower unit outboard oil also works well.    I use that to coat all the ungalvanized parts on my salt water boat trailers...  springs, shackles, etc.

I think he was referring to chain lube used on roller chain like a motorcycle or I use it on my WH snowblower

Yep! It’s in the 50s here in NC, dips down barely to freezing at night. That’s plenty cold enough for me! :D Of course we will see colder temps, but nothing like you folks up north. …And I am NOT complaining!

Same here in Maine unless you get up to the northern part of New Hampshire or Western Maine mountains.

Yup, been snowing or raining here al morning.

I took off for hunting today, went out, got my two birds, and was back in the car by 9 and glad for it. Started coming down hard right as I was getting back to the vehicle.

Went out again to clear area in front of shop and driveway...It is a magnum 16 and thus has the walbro fixed main jet.  May swap in a Kohler #30 seems to be a bit too lean when she really hits the big piles..

Still no action shots

Wow, it's 45 degrees F and sunny here.

No snow yet or even in the 7 day forecast.

Funny how we are further north and the weather is warmer.

Must be an altitude difference.

Where I am its low 40s. It's coming down as snow, but not laying. There is one of those atmospheric river things heading south to the west of Ontario, but hitting a lot of New England down into PA.

Also, if @pfrederiis in Northeast the town, and not Northeast the region he's right on lake Erie, and they are getting lake effect with system. My aunt who lives in Erie had a few inches on the ground last night.
