What have you done to your Wheel Horse today?

That truck sat for 12 years before PO called the junk yard to come get it. It had 17,000 miles on it. My nieces husband's family owns the junk yard. My mom paid the 350 dollar scrap fee that they paid to the PO. My nieces husband changed brakes and brake lines, fuel lines, some electrical issues were squirrels had chewed wires. Put those wheels and new tires on it. Then they surprised me with it when I was in hospitol for 4 and a half months battling cancer. Gave me something to look forward to. So to say I got it cheap is not correct. I fought hard for that thing .

Congratulations- and I am jealous! :P

Ark 500 was arguably the closest match and definitely best looking allied loader on a Wheel Horse! :thumbs:

I’m jealous too, and it used to be my loader!  :lol:

Took out my first set of balance gears yesterday.

They say the second gear (closest to the piston) can be removed with the crank in the perfect position.  I’m pretty good at figuring things out, but fought it long enough.  I drove the pin into the case, cleaned everything up and drove it back in from the outside.  Easy peasy!

On a 10hp, yes. Maybe a 12. On a 14 or 16, not a chance due to the crank throw.

The crank throw is the same on a 12 the balance weight is heaver on a 14 and 16;

FYI       10 HP didn't have Ballance gears, at least the K-241s I have rebuilt.

The hood ornament is painted and installed! I think It turned out pretty good for my first useful CAD design.

Got tired of one of my deck wheels coming off of my old square deck.  The shoulder bolt threads into the body of the deck. After 60 years the threads of the deck are a little worn. There weren't enough threads for a lock nut to go on the portion of the bolt threads that pass through the deck so I had my friend Billy whip up a couple of custom length shoulder bolts. The shoulder is an 1/8" longer so I can use needle bearings at the wheel itself and the threads are 1/2" longer for a locknut to grab . Pictured with a new std. Bolt for comparison.

@wallfish  I love Commando 800 , put on it on @squonk  truck or trailer at the BS and tell him to deliver it to me. :ROTF: I really wish it you were closer , I would take it off your hands.

You’ll be in good hands Waldo.  We can fit in in the Volvo!

With bigger tires on it now it's basically a B80.

Sorta reminds me of the plow machine I made for my son.    Only his would have been a B12.

Will he deliver? @squonk

If it doesn't sell before the big show I might be able to drag it down there.

@wallfish I was just kidding Sir Skunky would have to drive 250 miles south from the BS , then 500 miles to get home. Randy would kill him having to ride that far.
