I have wanted to make this post for the past ten months; today

I drove a Wheel Horse for the first time since my stroke!

My wife was a bit apprehensive about the whole thing and I wasn't even sure I could get on the 310-8;  but I did and it felt SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD

The smile says it all! 👍

Yeah I know it could be stood up. I would feel safer with it on its side. Like I have said before my garage is full so I have to work outside. No where to secure it standing up. I will drain the oil, remove the battery, and seal off the gas tank before tipping it over. I'm hopeful the belt changing won't be to involved. Hard to believe that little thing has 3 belts under there.

the deal I was looking for on a wood chipper!

Congrats. That mount looks great!

Essential on these direct-drive chippers is to keep the blade(s) very sharp. Sudden intro of a big branch with dull blades really shocks the engine--even with 11.5 ponies galloping along. I keep a spare blade for my chipper so I can swap with only a few minutes of downtime and then sharpen/replace later.

Antique White. Looks a bit yellow in the pic.

I like it. I used linen white for my latest restoration and I would have liked it a touch more beige.

Did some rear wheel swapping to put the ags on the 418-8, and installed the tiller and put it to work today!

Changed the tranny oil on the Vanguard 14-8 (I really need to pick a name for this tractor) again. Jacked up the nose as high as my jack goes. Probably not enough, but we'll see. Previous oil change still had a slightly cloudy appearance.

Replaced a leaking axle seal on the 523-H. I have never had one of these seals be so bleeping difficult to remove! :ranting: At least the hub jumped right off using my puller thingy. Just one more advantage of using spacers on the hubs- they pull the hub evenly and support it all the way around. Oh well, so far the seal looks to have done the trick. Dry as a bone!

Now that you built that hitch, you should be able to stumble across the other one.   :teasing-poke:
