I was tired of replacing with tractor supply solenoids so I figured these worked all these years on old Ford trucks so they should be fine on old garden tractors. Yeah, when we were young and broke, we used non-oem solenoids on our Mustangs and they would inevitably stick and leave the car cranking after it started. Have a hammer or a rock handy to whack it! After that, I started using OEM solenoids... never had a problem after that. Today I worked on the GT14. Changed the plug, wire and I'm going to give it an oil change in a little bit. I fixed up my ammeter bypass with a proper barrel connector and head shrink tubing, fixing the rig that I had on there, that was supposed to be temporary, from about 2 years ago haha. Waiting for my cheap little voltmeter to come from Amazon today so I can install it in my 3d printed flange. This is a temporary thing until my custom gauge arrives in about 2-3 months. Once the decades old grease was removed I descovered the tires were old school indian head Carlisles. Who knew? This is probably a dumb question but I picked up a 4 wheeled wagon a few years ago but the guy had replaced all the tires and rims with wheel barrow tires and rims and about 30 washers as spacers on each spindle. The few light spots are actually reflections from the ceiling, so it definitely works! Before and after below. Had a little haze left over from the original paint job. balconio 606 #20096 Posted October 19, 2023 We've been heavily loading the utility trailer around the yard lately and this project is overdue... I've entered my 312-8 into the wheelie prevention program. the ingredients: - 1/2x8" black iron pipe nipple - (2) 1/2" iron floor flanges - mild steel plate - cheapest 2" hitch HF had - 2 John Deere 20kg weights - lots of fugly welds. my HF welder is not feeding well at all Wouldn't you know it- there's just enough room to tip the hood all the way open. The weights fit tight, there's a little bit of end play on each side but this retains them very firmly- unlike the 3pt weight bar you can see in the background. All the colors of the AG rainbow lol. i bought a "Cub Cadet/Yanmar" that is black and yellow. what i need is a Kubota and an old Ford so i can have orange and blue covered. I've noticed something with equipment- when it's painted green it's instantly worth more than it should be it's really weird.....
