But the 1/8 hitch pins from TSC work great there. Much easier to manipulate than bending a nail too!

Should my brakes have grease on them like this? I'm not quite sure that brakes should be greasy.

Negative G.R. That's gear oil, not grease. Bad seal and possibly a bad bearing there but very likely just the seal.

Nope. 

Them's gunked up some. 

 

There's a seal behind the brake drum that's likely bad. Fairly easy job for replacement.

Sure. Some here would be able to give you a part # crosswalk to local sources (NAPA and the like) but if you have access to your ID, contact a vendor in their section below and they will hook you up.

Does anyone know how to take the steering wheel off this no name? 

Id like to replace it for a nicer one and can't figure out how to get it off

Yes.

Search this site for “remove steering wheel” or “steering wheel removal” (flip the “use all my keywords” switch on and choose “Topics” as the area to search

Numerous threads with info. 

There is either a Spirol or a Roll Pin through the hub of the wheel and the steering shaft. Removing one that’s nature welded (rusted) in place can be a real challenge--one of the WH rites of passage, I’d say, along with a stuck wheel hub or a stuck rear hitch pin.

Like Don says above, the steering wheel on a Wheelhorse is one of the biggest challenges many of us face. 

To remove one it takes the right tools, some know how, and most of all ~ patience. 

If the wheel you have is solid, as in no flexibility at the joints, it would be great to save it by removing without damage. They're a very good strong wheel.

Looks to me like you just need the center cap !!!   It sits in the groove inside the steering wheel center area above the Bolt head you can see

Idk if it could fit a center cap, as you may be able to see, the center is a bit stretched, and it also has a little cut in it. What I wanted to do was put an old Studebaker wheel on it. Would that be possible?
