Luckily you left the plow ON or you'd be guaranteed more snow ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️.

That tractor looks great!

Dig Dug got its first fire up for the season, readjusted the carb as starting had been super hard since the fall when I last adjusted it.

Come to figure out I had managed to invert my adjustments and had set the high idle to the low idle setting and the low idle to the high idle setting! Amazing how well it ran once started even completely adjusted backwards! My original complaint was high idle. Well.... after adjusting this time and figuring out my massive error(we will not try to powder coat and call it a "faux pas", or even a "mistake") I now have full choke range, full throttle range and idle is much lower than before. Tonight I'll do a cold start and see how improved starting is. Thanks everyone for the tips etc. on another thread.

Rest of the covers will get installed after a good dry-out period.

I will also give it time to show any more leaks.

Everytime I see the seat arms up like that I think GOOOOOAAAAAALLL!!!!!!!

Dig Dug did a first crank cold start. Easy Peasy!

Amazing how well it works when ya twist on the correct screw for the correct mixture adjustment!

Once the rain finally cleared up here in CT I decided to take a little ride on the 310-8 around the field and in the woods.

Glad it worked out.  Another good home for one of Jays tractors makes my day.

Thank You

Thanks Ed! Wish I'd have brought more cash! Lol Really sad I missed a chance on the loader backhoe too! I'll find a hoe for Dug eventually.

Really neat stand of bamboo they have too!

We found homes for a lot, but there is plenty left for the Big Show.

Hopefully I am done plowing snow for this year so I decided to clean up the plow tractor.

It has a slow hydraulic leak, not enough to actually drip on the floor but the machine looked terrible underneath the tin work.

I replaced the O rings on all the hydraulic hoses and in the control valve itself.

Then a lot of the tin was removed and tractor got a good de-greasing and washing.

It was up to a balmy 37 degrees F. so a nice day to get the hose out.

Looks much better now.

I let it dry then installed the fender and seat.

Here I thought I was a little fanatical about keeping my tractors clean! @cleat has me beat! By the way, I think the chain four links from the top might have a slight twist in it. You’d better address that 🤣🤣😂

Today I removed the hub and axle seal from my C-121. It has been leaking for a while but that helped with the hub removal. Lucky for me a simple three jaw puller and very little effort, it slid right off. The seal put up a little fight but I got it out and then ran out of time. Hopefully tomorrow I can install the new one and check this off my list!

You should cover it with straw, it will hold in the water to help it germinate & help to keep the birds from eating it.

Hi all,

Working on the B-125   the carb was hit during transport i think, the intake mount was cracked and the carb lost a little leaver.

So yesterday we got a MTD with 12hp briggs and stratton, get it to start, dismount it, cleaned it,

and now we are stuck dismounting the wheel horse engine, the puley is stuck hard on the old engine :(

this wil be a heatgun wd40 job i gues

Got the B-80 from the back of the workshop yesterday, where it had been sitting for 4-5 weeks. Started up first turn of the key.

Discovered the lift handle was all wrong. When it was forward the lift bar was up and vise versa. The link rod had been fitted all wrong.

Sorted that, then turned my attention to the parking brake. The park lever would not engage. Easy fix. Just slackened of the brake rod adjusting nut a little.

Fitted a hitch to the rear and it's all ready for doing a bit of rolling of the mess a mole made of the verge by the pond.

Be sure to use a VERY good penetrating oil.

Original formula WD 40 is NOT a penetrant.

Patience is your friend...

Be sure the set screws are out. Some pulleys have two set screws on top of one-another to lock the bottom one in place.
