That seat should be in a Museum, not under your dirty cement draggin" butt. I told the Wife that I need a working seat and put this original up for safe keeping. Her reply was a huge exaggeration that she had told the family that I had "replaced everything on it except the seat and steering wheel". I told her that I had only replaced all of the bearings and belts,,,, and a couple more items. What will fit the C-160 that's comfortable and cheap,,,,,and not yellow? Notice I didn't include the "cheap". That's tough to find in seats nowadays. Used places like A to Z Tractor in PA or Patten's might be a good bet there even though the shipping could be pricey.
Lee1977 6,663 #18628 Posted March 23, 2023 (edited) Agri Supply had these a five years back years back around for 45 dollars each, now there 87. As Eric said nothing cheap, the cheapest one at Agri Supply is 75. I put spacers under the hinge to get the seat to lean back. The back was too straight up with out them. Don't like the cheap seats at the ball game either, there too crowded. Edited March 23, 2023 by Lee1977 6

Pullstart 62,905 #18630 Posted March 23, 2023 (edited) Drive your tractor to school day. The two open cabs were both girls! It’s raining pretty good, but I’ll have to drive by later for a daylight picture. Edited March 23, 2023 by Pullstart Lightened up the image 7 3

This is the last year of being a homeschool dad. Jada’s been in public school for two years now and Rylee has chosen to stay homeschool… but now that she is wrestling, she can’t join the school team unless she attends 2/3 of the day. We pay taxes all the same, but they don’t see it that way. She has enrolled as a freshman for next school year. The seat was on the tractor when I bought it.The PO had it listed on CL for a couple weeks ,no interest in it all until I showed up😆 @BlasterdadGood eye spotting it.The first thing I noticed when checking out the tractor.PO replaced the seat then it sat in garage for many yrs. He said it had zero ass time on it ! 😆 4

peter lena 8,632 #18635 Posted March 23, 2023 @Lee1977 agree with that seat , have 3 of them , also got them when they were cheaper , like 303 protection cleaners , like the vinyl boat protectant , on vinyl , keeps it supple and fresh . also your paint looks like it is well maintained , totally agree with that , pete

Pullstart 62,905 #18637 Posted March 23, 2023 A little shuffling of the tractors, and kind of a sad sight. Only 4 tractors in a big farm town. Corn fed turned into hurt feelings I guess. 2

Kinda sad. Keep doing right and stay proud. 3
Monstrosity 1,128 #18642 Posted March 25, 2023 @Pullstart... Hicksville the town I currently live in on long island was mainly potatoe fields back then and slowly suburbia started taking over, now it's little India.. I'm catching the eyes of the neighborhood with these ponies when I take em out for a stroll down to the local park or when I bring em out in the front yard i also started growing veggies in the front yard too. There's one other wheelhorse that roams the neighborhood I saw the old man last year I want to say its a raider 12 8 speed. He lives in Levittown another big old farming town, i tried to talk to him but we caused a traffic jam down down the street.... 2 3

Maybe the other kids tractors don't have the potential to " spontaneously combust" and give off a little heat on a cold morning like yours do!
