NA73 70 #18426 Posted February 13, 2023 I got bored and went looking for a project with all the unseasonable warm weather. the plan is to make an extension(bolt-on) to the bell-crank arm for greater range of motion for the snow blower. I'm going to drill out the far end hole to the same size as the others. With the motion-control rod unbolted, one can get an angle-grinder w/ cut-off wheel down to make a slice and after 30 seconds with an air-chisel, everything came apart. ended up with this:
Pullstart 62,846 #18427 Posted February 14, 2023 I’m doing some all so often but never lasts cleaning and organizing. I put the skinnies on for ease of rolling around. Oh how much fun it would be to spin them to a smoke show! 4

kpinnc 12,017 #18435 Posted February 14, 2023 (edited) I took it easy today. I rebuilt a hydraulic cylinder to go on the Bronco. It has one of the older welded cylinders that is leaking a little. I just rebuilt a newer spare and will swap them in a few days. Took it completely apart and soaked in hot water and degreaser. Then rinsed in hot water. Must be good stuff, because it took the paint off! The wipers on the plunger were completely disentigrated, so I'm glad I took the time to rebuild instead of just swapping as-is. Lubed all the new o-rings with dex/merc and it went back together with about 2.6 grunts. Wiped down and shot a coat of primer and paint. Not show quality, but hopefully will last another few years. Start to finish around 30 mins. Edited February 14, 2023 by kpinnc 1

19richie66 17,500 #18442 Posted February 18, 2023 I have been trying to get my dad’s tractor ready to take to my son next week. Hope is that he will get the bug and redo it later. Swapped out a bunch of different parts that my dad put on it and tried to get it back to stock. Also put a deck on it and mowed a little. Little rough on the rear without a seat 😁. 7 5

WHX?? 48,815 #18450 Posted February 19, 2023 (edited) Tore down a 1276 parts tractor. Anybody see anything they need speak now or forever hold yer peace. Tore into the motor and the boys measured it up. Within std. specs but some weird cross hatching. Will get cleaned up, honed and new rings & paint and on the shelf for a ready spare or project. We think this might have been a service motor at one time. I.D. plate is MIA. Drilled out the pully set screws and came off no problem @Achto From the we seen it all files. Hubs are savable tho with new keyway. Axles good yet too! Edited February 19, 2023 by WHX?? 4
