Personally I would pick the tri-ribs. Just looks more 'tractor-like' to me and I'm not a member of the 'it's-only-original-once' club. Just has to look as good as I can get it in my book when I'm door.

I guess what I'm saying is: it's a matter of taste ;)

What's the distance from cylinder pipe to cylinder pipe?

@ebinmaine - Finally got around to measuring this afternoon.  The port to port spacing looks to be 11 1/2", with about a 3" offset parallel to the crank, with the rear cylinder being closer to the tractor centerline.

Ran out of time this week for tractor work.  My uncle died last week, and we've been contacting family and helping with the arrangements where we could. Made a run into Detroit yesterday for his visitation, stayed overnight for his service this morning.  Kind of neat piece of trivia - his dad, my grandfather, was one of the architects who in 1950 designed the church where the service was held.  Kind of sad, though.  Most of the services I have attended in that church have been funeral services.

I mowed some leaves today.  They say it’s beneficial to mulch them instead of bagging.  Seat time plus no raking or bagging equals #winning to me.  Also got to practice my implement swap out skills.  Now the deck has to come back off and the plow back on.  No biggy!

Clearly you NEED more tractors.

Made sure all my batteries were fully charged. Left the 875 charging all night. Charged up the 856 yesterday. The 1075 is going to need to be looked at. One day it runs great, next day won't stay running. I'm thinking it might be the fuel pump because it does leak a little. It's the one with the primer lever. Not sure if I should replace or rebuild it. First I will check if it's getting good constant spark. Then I'll check fuel. Any opinions on the fuel pump I'd like to hear them.

REBUILD THE EXISTING

Also replace every single inch of your fuel line if you haven't done so within the last three or four MONTHS.

My other option is a set of new old stock Goodyears I bought that are much like early Wheel Horse equipment.

If it were my tractor the Good Years would be the hands down winner. Tri ribs are great for the farm tractor look but for an RJ the vintage look of the Good Year is a clear winner.    :twocents-02cents:

I'm going to check points and put my spark tester on. As far as rebuilding the fuel pump I'm having trouble finding a kit for it.
