Just looks more 'tractor-like' to me and I'm not a member of the 'it's-only-original-once' club. Just has to look as good as I can get it in my book when I'm door. I guess what I'm saying is: it's a matter of taste 4

The port to port spacing looks to be 11 1/2", with about a 3" offset parallel to the crank, with the rear cylinder being closer to the tractor centerline. Ran out of time this week for tractor work. My uncle died last week, and we've been contacting family and helping with the arrangements where we could. Made a run into Detroit yesterday for his visitation, stayed overnight for his service this morning. Kind of neat piece of trivia - his dad, my grandfather, was one of the architects who in 1950 designed the church where the service was held. Kind of sad, though. Most of the services I have attended in that church have been funeral services. Edited November 11, 2022 by 8ntruck

WHX?? 48,828 #17630 Posted November 10, 2022 Worked them ... used the FEL to grub out some unruly lilacs. Then just to heat up a tecky got out the 502 and used the plow to move dirt around. I forget about that float function on the FEL @Achto! Is handy. 5

EB-80/8inPA 1,652 #17632 Posted November 11, 2022 (edited) I mowed some leaves today. They say it’s beneficial to mulch them instead of bagging. Seat time plus no raking or bagging equals #winning to me. Also got to practice my implement swap out skills. Now the deck has to come back off and the plow back on. No biggy! D_Mac 8,619 #17635 Posted November 11, 2022 Made sure all my batteries were fully charged. Left the 875 charging all night. Charged up the 856 yesterday. The 1075 is going to need to be looked at. One day it runs great, next day won't stay running. I'm thinking it might be the fuel pump because it does leak a little. It's the one with the primer lever. Not sure if I should replace or rebuild it. First I will check if it's getting good constant spark. Then I'll check fuel. Any opinions on the fuel pump I'd like to hear them. If it were my tractor the Good Years would be the hands down winner. Tri ribs are great for the farm tractor look but for an RJ the vintage look of the Good Year is a clear winner. D_Mac 8,619 #17640 Posted November 11, 2022 I'm going to check points and put my spark tester on. As far as rebuilding the fuel pump I'm having trouble finding a kit for it.
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #17641 Posted November 11, 2022 This guy’s senior pictures came back…figured you guys would like these with Comanche in them. Thanks again @Sparky for making this tractor a reality for Caleb. He/we use it all the time for small tasks around the yard. Looks pretty good for being nearly 60 years old and wearing much of its original “clothes”… a kid and his horse! (don’t worry guys—we have the original 8hp on the shelf ready for a freshen up and reinstall at a later date with all the original associated equipment—starter, battery tray, switch, wiring, etc) 4 11 1

WHX?? 48,828 #17645 Posted November 12, 2022 (edited) Forgot about this ... really strange weather here for this time of year. Record breaking 70 but today in the 30s. Took the nice weather to turn the garden with a 1067 and a 8 incher that was having some flash rust. As long as I had her out and before greasing the share might as well drop her in the junior field... which never did get done at plow day you light weights... They had no qualms about reaming my rear for opening up the field on the sides instead of the middle @Stormin but never offered to help correct my bad!
