@Ed Kennell  did some noise control on the deck  that I  recently dropped , the rear deck wheel axel  was  noisy , opened it up , at the mount hold point , used  a piece of  TYE WRAP  angularly across its width , greased it clamped it back together , did both sides , smooth and quiet . also touched up the grease on the belt idler pulley . went over any sloppy hang point area  , quiet now . sleeping  with the oil soak . pete

@Wheelhorse#1  looks good to me , is that an oil soak rub down ?  has a familiar  paint sheen to me . done that so regularly , don't even think about it , saved my horse paints , pete

Looks formidable!

Assuming the winch is holding up the box scraper so the lift is handling the blower.

Can you post close up images of how the winch arm is attached and braced, please?

@Ed Kennell  never used old atf , but the chemical cocktail of that would make sense , every time I  see a  faded  neglected horse , thats my first thought ,  a double  soak , rub in and dry  , usually brings paint  back to a recovery stage . then a 6" electric palm buffer  and some cleaner wax  brings it right out , the de[pth of  color and clarity  is amazing . stays like a fresh wax job . pete

@Handy Don   looks like you are ready , did you  lubricate and adjust that , belt driven chain drive off the pto ?  specific  chain lubricant will stay with it , only a suggestion , pete

I put this togethor somewhere I could operate the blade independent of the snowblower.  The winch operates the blade and the hydraulics raise/lower the blower.

 

Winch on the ground, this is an older version, the idler wheel and round bar were replaced.

 

 

Front of ladder frame connected to rear axle using the plow mounts.  I installed the plow mounts backwards so the bolts in the frame go against the mount and not the latch if that makes sense.

 

 

Added angle iron to the receiver using a u bolt.  The legs connecting the ladder frame to the angle iron are 1/2" all thread, with 1/2" black pipe to act as a spacer.

 

The back of the tractor evolved over the years, the receiver was the first addition, and everything else was added as time went on.  Seems to work so it can't be wrong.

@R Scheer that is a clever setup you've got there. I especially like the use of the tach-o-matic for the drawbar/reciever.

We've had great weather for leaf grinding. I try to get out before it gets to thick. So every day a new blanket of leaves by my maple. Made an extension for my leaf blower and got the gutters. Then plowed the leave to a new spot in the yard for grinding.

 

 

Do like my recycling deck!

There are 2 different pieces of mesh. Inner is what attaches to the blade. Old piece of shelving from the wife's green house. Outer piece is a piece of shelving from you favorite blue box store! I trimmed off an edge to give it a "rake effect" Drilled 2 holes in the blade and used zip ties for now. I can get you pics tomorrow

You have the lift stop set just to kiss the ground with that, or full weight of the plow?

.Different receiver hitch, I have done two types one clamped on the a the axle and braced to the transmussion pin. The other clamped on the axle and braced on the top of the transmission.

If I get another Wheel Horse I'll nuild one similar to yours.

Lift stop is set so plow blade is about an inch off the ground. Tines extend down below edge.

Yes, it's welded to the bottom of the standard hitch.  Undo the bolts at the front, pull the hitch pin, and the receiver drops straight down.

 

Only issue is that it's a bit lower than I'd like.

The lack of clearance wouldn't permit me to use that on most of the tractors we have but I really like the idea.

My half witt thought for a hitch on Colossus runs under the transmission like that but I was going to attach it a hair more forward on the frame.

That way ALL the weight is divided between the wheels a little better but that's not really a huge issue on these tractors so I  likely won't go that way.

Shelf is trimmed to create tines. Blade is about an inch off the ground. Still a work in progress
