@Lane Ranger  good belt drive pictures , did some typical detailing  for function on my set up , that idler frame needs a grease assist  at the movement points , grease changed my idler pulleys , added a stronger pull spring  , also have these https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=WkqVzw0S&id=AE943CDF7DFFA4FDF19FBA987FFD2ED41E37C2F9&thid=OIP.WkqVzw0Snv30XVpEuSLqX  1/2" m/f  heim joints r/h thread , to steering quadrant lower hole point and end of lever rod , red aerosol grease that quadrant and especially slide pin point , only what I  did , no sarcasm or negativity intended . pete

Drill out holes to next larger roll pin size.

Did that... went to 5/16 but hard to get accurate holes without the factory jigs. Worse yet the orginal arms had other PO fixes. Going to 3/8 would have taken too much material off the steering arms.

The control arm angle is good for my 418-A. This will be my 5th winter using this plow. Just giving it a refresh. Of course I don't have a pic of the right side with it mounted on the 418-A.

But I do with it mounted on the 312-8.

Now you got me wondering if I could mount mine like that.

I replaced my broken seat bracket on 520H with one that is much better (but not perfect). I do have concerns that cracks in bottom plate will occur again in the same spots and already have plans to re-enforce the bottom plate and add support to the U springs.

Not an area I would've suspected of weakness. Do you think the breaking spring broke the bracket or vice versa?

Please share description and pics of your support when you get to it!

Looks like a PO extended the slots in the broken one.

The Ven-Track does a fair job, but we chuck punkins over a mile in Delaware.

The national championship was held here for 33 years till a lady got injured and filed a law suit.

It's been so dry, the tractors are getting very dusty

I know what you mean. We are surrounded by trees here... and mowing leaves has been difficult with all the dust. When I mow, it literally looks like a desert dust storm.

AND I come into the house looking like I was spray painted with tan spray paint from head to toe from the dust... which I'm sure you can imagine makes the female lady women have healthy thoughts towards me... :deadhorse:

I use a backpack blower to blow off my machines, so mine are staying fairly clean... considering... :D

I thought we were going to get some rain yesterday... I was wrong...

but really should I get a Chinese one a Briggs or what I’m looking for actual answers

I'm sure some where back in these 17,000 posts you added a post about a tractor.    You should probably create a new topic about your tractor with pictures and model numbers.

After we know what tractor you are asking about, we can offer advice.
