Would you share with us where you got that muffler? This looks like the perfect size for my Murray to IH project.

I got one just like it you can have for free but shipping might be $$ ?

It was a tad tall and just didn't look right for me.

Kevin, that clutch disk isn't goin to work well the way you have it mounted there.        :scared-eek:

Mounted a little loose maybe but should be fine.

@WHX?? thank you for the generous offer. Shipping to the Netherlands probably isn't going to be fun :scratchead:

Besides that I would need two mufflers, preferrably the same.. I'm keeping my eye on some more local vintage tractorparts sellers which might have comparable mufflers. Most of them seem larger though.

As you might have seen I already made my own mufflers but they are a bit loud and don't have that nice factory flange on top and button. So I'm debating if I'm going to make another pair or just buy something.. choices, choices..

One in the box? Did you purchase the new 88 520 in the box at this year's show?

Messed about with a couple carbs this evening.

A Kohler cleanup in process for a fellow Redsquare member.

Also got back into this Walbro from a Tecumsehorse C160 OHV160 engine.

I've had it apart to clean it out but didn't have the right gaskets on hand.  It wants to run but needs more help.

I'll order up a kit for it.

Any advice on how to easily remove the Welch plug on the side?

This is how I do it but some folks try other methods to avoid the shavings but I don't really get that. It's torn down and being cleaned anyway right :confusion-shrug:

Replacements (other than bags of 100) can sometimes be challenging but maybe you have a good source.
