AMC RULES 37,130 #15979 Posted June 1, 2022 Putting the tractor back to factory original Lane. In so doing, this hood will receive some structural repairs. 4
WHX?? 48,828 #15980 Posted June 2, 2022 (edited) Yikes Madge. .. on my shop list too.... my hood sets crooked and neither me nor Pullhosen can figure out why. PO at some time set her up for crank start and he is the only hero that started it on crank. Front rope start is a home made affair too but started her up after the winter nap on two pulls. Supposedly the hood went thru resto at a shop that specialized in Corvette fiber repair. Edited June 2, 2022 by WHX??

Achto 27,600 #15989 Posted June 4, 2022 (edited) Hooked up the Brinly cultivator to my Raider 12 (row crop) to chase the weeds out of some sweet corn today. Who says a hard working tractor can't look good too? Ever wonder why any manufacturer would have bothered to put a hood ornament on a tractor? One purpose for it is to use it as a site to line your tractor up down your rows in your garden. I was going to use Radpferd, my Diesel tractor with a 3spd transmission today but I'm glad that I choose my Raider. Why? 1st gear high range was a little too fast. At this speed too much dirt was being thrown on to the plants. 3rd gear low range worked much better. Edited June 4, 2022 by Achto 10 14

He's calculated that if one drip is seen, and it looks like he's found it, an ice cream bribe is required. Either that or the end result tractor may have to be named after him. Fun times.
