peter lena 8,580 #14529 Posted February 3, 2022 @Snoopy11 @kpinnc thanks for the kind words , how would i do that lubrication manual ? most of what I do is based on my millwright experience . dealing with failures and making them go away , developed a personal interest in mechanical operations . I just see a problem and immediately think of how to make make it stop . just some ideas , thanks pete 4

The house renovation will be done at some point. In the meantime we've got a storm due Friday and PTO disc due Saturday. May just hunker down an extra day and clean up over the weekend. With luck the yard won't be covered by a block of blue ice.

One thing I noticed though was that I had to take it a bit slower than expected, but I believe it is because there is a WRONG and WIMPY spring on the idler! Augers kept stalling out when I pushed a little too hard. New spring on order... The correct spring is a 6651 part number and is 7/8" OD, 0.10 wire, hook to hook 5-3/4" If you can find a "Century Spring 5532" that's an exact match for the WH part. And this one is VERY close, Century C-263 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BQWVLY/ What's on yours Bill? @Jeff-C175 not sure will have to check, I just know from past snowfalls I have done about 7 driveways ranging from a few feet to a couple of hundred feet and no problems ate everything in its path and filled the tank up only once. 3

Lane Ranger 10,943 #14537 Posted February 4, 2022 (edited) A little bit of snow removal with my 314 hydro and snowblower setup. My first time using a hydro with hydro lift and a snowblower! We had about five or six inches of fairly powdery snow from Storm Landon last night and today. This was on top of a lilt ice and sleet from Wednesday. Turned out pretty well. Did my drive and two neighbors before getting too cold. I can seethe need for wheel weights on this and I will put someon I am for more work in daylight tomorrow. This 314 has ag tread tires and they did well without chains. Onl stuck once tonight. SylvanLakeWH 25,489 #14541 Posted February 4, 2022 Well looks like my 5 year old battery on my C 105 might be toast… Always on a floater and perfect performance until this morning… No complaints… Excellent performance… I’ll be swapping out the one I use for lights on the predator swap… no more lights on that one until I replace the 3 on the E 141 this spring… I’ll use one of those, add some needed weight and give me lights…!
Snoopy11 5,714 #14542 Posted February 4, 2022 @kpinnc Out plowing (video on the way)... and HellHorse ran out of gas. Went back to the shop, grabbed a can of fuel, threw it in the trailer, and went out to give my Horse a drink. Then the 2 of them got in an argument about who was faster... deer or horse... Sheesh... can't they just get along? Don 1

kpinnc 11,894 #14548 Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) Welded up some rebar and scrap flat bar to clamp on my cultivator bar. Made a nice little drag rake until I get the larger one built for the Bronco. I hate stutter bumps in my gravel driveway. This is at least a short term fix until spring. The 867 didn't mind dragging it around, even if it was just cobbled up. Edited February 5, 2022 by kpinnc 9

I wanted to see how much spacing and how much weight I would need to make it work. I think the larger one on the Bronco will work better, because it will basically be two rows of spikes, and far more weight to keep it digging.
