PackerBacker 37 #14327 Posted January 22, 2022 Glad you guys like the Trash Hauler I made here is another Horse (the GT2500) I fixed from a rusted hulk. For the record the driveway to the road is only 25 yards but it is seat time as mentioned I’m looking for. Any reason to use it! Go Pack Go! 4

Ifixoldjunk 778 #14338 Posted January 23, 2022 made my neighbors think I was crazy by driving my 310 in circles. Figured out since the driveway was practically a sheet of ice it was a good time to test the new tires and chains. Seems AGs and chains are just as good as turfs and chains. 6

I have no issues with my ags on ice or in snow, as long as the chains stay in place. You know about it quick when the don't, and I think getting them on is a bit more aggravating with the ags. Can't beat them for wet spots in the yard though. Spots my turfs would tear up by ags don't even slip.

IIFF I install them carefully the 2 link chains fall into every low spot between the bars on my AGs. They're prone to moving around some if I don't get them tight. At some point my snow tractor will get turfs fluid filled with these ice chains and the fluid filled AGs will be used for non ice terrain.
kpinnc 12,111 #14342 Posted January 23, 2022 I finally got the new hydraulic lines installed tonight on the Bronco. The two extra lines going to the rear cylinder make for quite a pile of hoses near my foot, but a few zip ties made it a bit neater. And the hood stripe is just a test with electrical tape. It's not staying on. I found some 1.5 inch black stripe that I forgot I had, so I stuck some electrical tape on there to see if black was too dark. I think I'll wait for Terry to get some more made up in the right color. 5

8ntruck 7,021 #14345 Posted January 23, 2022 Been thinking about the direction I want to go with my C195. I have definitely decided to re-paint the hood. Got a couple of ideas that I will try in primer once the weather warms up in the spring. Run it for a while and see if it grows on me.

sjoemie himself 3,068 #14347 Posted January 23, 2022 @kpinnc Looking good with everything installed. I have to ask though, some of the hydraulic lines are bent pretty tight. Are you not worried about that? I know that there are certain guidelines for that and assuming that the shop knows what they are doing.
peter lena 8,639 #14348 Posted January 23, 2022 @kpinnc , nice work, pay attention to those possible chaffing areas , rear of frame corner . used some teflon like , sheeting as a protective sleeve in a similar possible wear spot , that lift set up looks stout , pete
