SylvanLakeWH 25,598 #14302 Posted January 20, 2022 I doubt it… I just pulled that image off the internet for example purposes… But, I bet they make them for wet conditions - construction equipment etc…
CB520HC 61 #14303 Posted January 21, 2022 Got some much needed seat time in Ohio sadly I did not bring my snow blower up Sunday so it had to wait till Tuesday so the 520 had to take a beating clearing snow. had 14-18" third pic is at uncles place clearing his concrete with the blower as thats where it was hibernating 44' 2 stage is an absolute beast with any of this snow so long as wind does not blow the powder back in your face need to find a cab so it wont affect me. blower was mounted on my k341 swapped C-175 have to make some new threads on clutch adjustment rod and re-do the outer bearing as it is sloppy. thatll happen when i tear motor down to deal with internal engine noise. 4
ebinmaine 67,592 #14304 Posted January 21, 2022 I moved the '75 C160 Automatic from the Horse stable in the upper driveway down to the outdoor workshop where I can get a few things done to it between snows. I'll be doing some improvements to the plow system and the tractor itself. Needs a head gasket and to have the starter rebuilt, for starters.... So to speak. I pulled the battery out and put it in the basement workshop on the charger to keep it happy.
PackerBacker 37 #14305 Posted January 21, 2022 Created a trash hauler for the Horse the other week along with my neighbors WarEagle version using the main water shutoff. No lifting needed for pickup or drop off either. Making trash day a little more fun. Simple to install with a pin. Maybe a bit over engineered but it’s solid like my Wheel Horse! 8

Did you not see the thread where a guy built up a 520 just to go 10 foot to get the mail? I might be off on my terminology but pretty sure it's called seat time! 1
peter lena 8,634 #14315 Posted January 22, 2022 @ PACKER BACKER @LEE 1977, love that heavier angle steel !, my personal favorite is the 4" and 6 " channel steel , if you are going to build something , make it bombproof. getting scary out there , members making up helping attachments , pete

Now Ed that is a really good idea... fill a container with water ... it would freeze solid here but then melt in the spring for easy removal. Drain spud on it .... 1

Sorry but with 1200 feet of driveway to plow in the winter and grass measured in acres I have enough "seat time"
WHX?? 48,828 #14318 Posted January 22, 2022 No apologies necessary Paul ... well let you slide this once but not all of us are blessed with a long drive or acres to mow so we often have to conjure up reasons for SWMBO to buy another tractor or add acoutrements to ones we have. Me: Going down the road sweetie to make sure the neibors got cleared out. Her: Don't they have a plow? Me: Yes they do but it's an old 8N and breaks down alot. They might need help. I best go to make sure. Her: Yer just angling for seat time ain't you? Me: Got that that right..... 3
