RedWheelz 149 #14276 Posted January 18, 2022 Finally found a muffler that is quiet enough for me. It's a Walker 22229. Sure isn't the cutest puppy in the basket, but she does the job. 10

What others have you tried and how much difference did this one make?
SylvanLakeWH 25,598 #14278 Posted January 19, 2022 I’m curious how much quieter it is…
BIGMIKE 78 #14279 Posted January 19, 2022 Changed oil and filter, fuel filter and air filter in my 416H. Headed out of the shop to clear the 10" of fresh snow we got the last 2 days and ate the snow thrower drive belt. Backed back into the shop. Can't find my new belt that I bought last year. So off to the store to get another one. BIGMIKE

giddyap 1,569 #14281 Posted January 19, 2022 Hardly ever seen and I wonder why? But I needed one especially while cleaning the snow the city plows keep pushing on my cleared off driveway. At my age it's hard to turn around and with a one piece survival suit it's impossible. So without further ado, my rear view mirror...Ta da! It sits high to look over my shoulder but I would like to get a bigger rectangle one and return this one back to my bike 8

I do have a glasses mounted tiny mirror I've used for bicycling. That's a possibility.....

Thinking about getting some heatresistance self adhering noise canceling material to cover the inside of the metal hood. Since a lot of noise is coming from the block it self on air-cooled engines

I bolted the tube on both sides of the bend and sure there is some vibrations but now I can see if cars are approaching me. I took it for a test drive and was even able the ID the make of car coming at me. Crazy drivers on my road, they will move over if they see my car at the end of the drive, but won't pull over when I am working roadside. I removed the color so my fine textured painted top of the hood could be appreciated and not the mismatched reds.

CrossThread Industries 31 #14290 Posted January 20, 2022 Hey Giddyap, I need one of those for the neighborhood where I use my WH - cover my six(!) But seriously, I am making an aux set of headlights using the replacement equivalent LED lamps that replace the incandescent ones in the tractor, already. I plan on using neodymium magnets to temp attach the set to the WH hood. I will have to make some mount for the pair of lamps, magnets underneath it.. I think you could use neodymium magnets to mount a mirror, similarly. 2

There are magnetic bases available on the interwebs for bolt on lights. Don't remember where, but I've picked up a set. 1

Gregor 4,846 #14297 Posted January 20, 2022 Off Topic Sowwy ! (my emojis are not working) I bought a backup camera from Amazon. Didn't work. Contacted the manufacturer, and they sent another. It's all good. Nope! That one didn't work either, after a week. They sent another. THAT one worked. I left a somewhat bad review on Amazon. The manufacturer contacted me, saying if I removed my review, they would send a FREE upgrade. Well, they did resolve the problem, so I removed it. They sent an upgraded camera......Then they sent another replacement camera for the one that didn't work. Then they sent another upgraded camera. At this rate, I can put them on my Horses ! 1 1
