I got a 1/4  and a 3/8 drill & tap just bring it over here. I also would have just put compressed air in the tranny to blow out the shavings ....and the goo that comes with it..... pics on how that pans out..... yep let's not do it over here .....

Rylee and I had to determine the best performers in snow.  Last winter, we learned that fatties don’t work well in the white stuff… no matter how cool they look!

I run 23 x 10.50s on Cinnamon Horse. 

Filled. Weighted. Me.

All depends on what model tractor you have, The 1976 and later models you put a spacer under the fender bracket. then you will need spacers under the seat mounts. 

If you have a clearance problem it will be at the footrest. I had to bend mine for the 25 x 900 x 12 on my 312-8.as the uprights are not bolted to anything.

By putting it under the fender bracket it raises the fuel tank also. I put a 1/8" across and spacers raising the seat and fuel tan bracket also.

I inch would have cleared, but I also braced my receiver hitch off the top of the transmission I raised 1 3/4".

These are 25s, with no raiser anywhere. So if you do have to add a little spacing, it should in fact be very little.

 

On several of my tractors, I've had to put small (1/2 inch) blocks under the tank at the back under the transmission supports to keep the filler cap up, and that is with no spacing of any kind, just to make filling up easier.

On 12 inch wide, you will most likely hit the fueltank sideways or the brake, spacer will then be needed or making the stock rims wider.

I usually make some small spacers that just lift the fender up an inch or 2.. I’ve fit 27s on a wheel horse before lol.

I’m putting them on a b series so I don’t have to worry about the tank.. however I do have some spacers kicking around if need be

I raised my fender 3/4" found out I couldn't get the cap off. I carefully enlarged the hole 1/4 all around with a drum sander.

 

For those that raise the tank and all, what do you do to the rear lift cable?

When I raised the fender on my 520, I bolted a 2" PVC cap to the fuel tank cap.

Put my 42 inch snowblower on my 314 50th Anniversary Wheel Horse hydro tractor with hydro lift today.   This snowblower I bought two years ago and used once on my 314-8.  I think it is a 1985 so maybe 36 years old but I think it just looks like new.  Operates great but I am putting a new belt on it .  
 

This will be my first time using a hydro in winter so I hear you have to warm up tractor some in cold weather to get transmission fluid warmed and flowing good.

 

I would like to hear any tips you folks that use a snowblower on a Wheel Horse hydro might have as this will be my first time!   I used my old 1967 Lawn Ranger with snowblower for years but I sold her in 2020.  Lots of old videos on here using that equipment.   It was always fun!
