Thegearhead0324 1,255 #26 Posted January 7, 2018 My 1257.... got inside wheel weights and weights behind the rear hubcaps. Just yesterday broke the shifter pivot screw so shifter is loose. Other than that she runs great and plows like a champ. 11

AMC RULES 37,130 #32 Posted January 7, 2018 It's truly impressive, how well a little round hood moves snow... with no more than just adding a front mounted weight. 6

Mal Mac I'm jealous of those cabs and the loader! I bet those can move some snow and the cab can keep ya warm lol. We have a Ford 5610 with a loader but not very small or nimble The Suburban does a great job up and until you get 10+ inches of snow then you have to slow her real down..... the GT14 with blower is a beast...... JoeliusZ28 77 #34 Posted January 8, 2018 I see a couple of you are also squarebody chevy owners! Here's my setup, 89 414-8. Finally have the setup dialed in pretty well, it hasnt gotten stuck one time this year. 3
Chris G 3,296 #35 Posted January 8, 2018 This is my main plow tractor. Honestly it's a beast in the snow and also a blast to play in the snow with. 2

If it does, go to the local gym, grab a couple hundred lbs of weights throw them on the back—and you’re in business! I use the same system for weights on the 523 and it works great.
Gracie's Dad 155 #37 Posted January 9, 2018 The only one I have used so far this season, 416 with blower and cab is still sleeping 2

Haha, I actually have two more plates sitting in the garage (I originally bought 4 25 pounders so 100 pounds total) but I'm trying to run as little weight as possible on the hitch mount because I don't want to crack the transmission case even though I modified the draw bar to distribute the weight better. Tractor did much better this year with 50 lbs on the hitch with chains than it did last year with no chains and 75/100 lbs on the hitch. So I'm probably just going to recycle those two plates into my workout equipment.
kto434 108 #39 Posted January 9, 2018 (edited) Hi guys, My 312-8 in snow moving garb. Here in SW Ohio it is rare to need rear wheel weights. The air-filled AG tires work great for me. Edited January 9, 2018 by kto434 3
PeacemakerJack 10,738 #40 Posted January 9, 2018 @kto434 you are doing pretty good if you can push snow with no weights or chains. Thanks for sharing pics of your rig—looks like you have a comfortable “saddle” on that thing!

Desko 608 #42 Posted January 10, 2018 Very awesome to see! I know everyone is thinking summer and back to mowing but there definitely is something enjoyable about seeing these ol girls playing in the snow! I definitely enjoy snow blowing in the evening as it gets dark just to run the lights!
WHX?? 48,815 #43 Posted January 10, 2018 Agreed Desko, most of my snow moving gets done after work and with these short winter days its usually dark when I get home so good lighting is a necessity on my sno horses!
aHorseofCourse 261 #44 Posted January 11, 2018 Just got this rig put together. Still a work in progress. Have a single stage for it too but we've only had 2-4" storms so far. 3

608KEB 795 #46 Posted January 11, 2018 I use 520H's at the house. A B-100 at the farm. There really has not been much snow at home to speak of in last 3 years. I've plowed twice this year. I haven't needed chains or weights yet. I set up the other 520H 3 years ago. I've still haven't given it a good workout yet.
