Mickwhitt 4,618 #801 Posted April 14, 2021 (edited) Yes there was a pick up version. Curiously enough this one was made in the same year as my little Red Fred. Just to give some idea how small these things were I found a photo with one of your American chaps for scale. That is your Jay Leno? Bit of a vehicle enthusiast I'm told. Stormin 9,981 #802 Posted April 14, 2021 Yep! Mini pickup. 875cc 4 cylinder engine. The farm where I help out had one many years ago and I've had a few minis. Saloons, van and Clubman 1275cc estate. 1

Sorry to correct, ...and has nothing to do with the Original, except BMW had tried to copy the optics...😂 The original Mini was a great Car without any senseless electronic gadgets in it. It was driving pure, like a GoCart.. friend on mine had one with the 75HP Engine, an extreme small but funny car in his Area. 1
Stormin 9,981 #804 Posted April 14, 2021 Both you and Mick are correct. To call the BMW a mini is sacrilege. 1

Mickwhitt 4,618 #806 Posted April 15, 2021 For those of you who want their Mini, just a little bit more mini, cut the back off it and reweld... Its called a mini ha ha and its a blast. So short that if you gun it in reverse it pulls a front wheel wheelie! Mick 2 2

Stormin 9,981 #809 Posted April 15, 2021 Spark plug leads were in a bad place. Transverse engine with the leads etc at the front and no radiator to hid behind. Rad' was on the RH side looking at the engine.

haydendavid380 759 #822 Posted April 17, 2021 '66 C-10 my great grandpa bought new the day my uncle was born. My great uncle wrecked it shortly before he was killed during Vietnam. There's a bit of wrinkled metal behind the cab we left from it. My great grandparents drove it across the country to my parents' wedding in '85. It was the last trip up here they made together. Great grandpa (Pa) passed away in the early 90's and my dad bought it from Ma. Dad drove it as his daily truck for a couple of years, before he tore it apart and got in the restoration over his head. Over 4 moves we had to move it in pieces. In 2015 my dad finally decided to have it finished. This is how it rolled into the shop Took about 2 years, but this is how it drove out 1 5

JCM 9,130 #824 Posted April 18, 2021 @cschannuth Confirmed this morning when that F-250 showed up. You are correct it has the 351 in it , original motor with 118000 miles on it . I take the blame and it must have been the Tinnitus in my left ear. 2
