I'd agree it's late 60s to early 70s. I don't know how to or if you can narrow down a year. There was a full 4 door crew cab available then with a SHORT bed stepside. Fellow I worked with had one as a daily driver. Ex military truck. Boy did it look odd. But AWESOME. 1

We had a Dodge box truck at my first job that looked like that in the front and it was a 1971.

I’ll throw in my about these beasts of a truck. There’s one simple way to tell if any vehicle was built before 1968 and that’s side marker lights. All cars and trucks 1968 and newer were mandated to have them . So if we look closely on this W200 they’re absent so we know it’s a 67 or earlier. This truck however is sporting a 68-69 grill which is throwing some peopl off the year . 1970-71 had slightly different design . The hood is also 67 and earlier. Without looking into the interior or the rear of the truck all I can say it’s between 1961-1967 . Going through some images I’ve only seen the big back window on 66 and newer trucks but I’m not 100% about this option. So my best guess is this truck is a 66 or 67 with a face lift. here’s a link to Wikipedia for more info ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_D_series Edited July 6, 2020 by ACman 4 2
chip61 658 #606 Posted July 1, 2020 Nice looking truck!! I really like the stance of the '60's-70's 4 x 4 pickups. I'd really like to have a truck like that with a transplanted Cummins in it

The cool thing about those old Dodges from that area and others is that you could take the hood letters off and have some fun. My friends dad was a dodge dealer in the 70's and they had this old 1 ton utility body with a plow on it. The Hood said " DOG" ! They also had a 2 ton Ford Cabover tow truck that said " DORF" !

Pullstart 62,900 #622 Posted August 2, 2020 We saw more vintage trucks, Jeeps and the like than we could shake a stick at in Puerto Rico, so much fun! I will post some hot rod/car pics in the other thread too. The Suzuki had to have been a custom, I believe it was sitting on a Sidekick frame. The white food truck, it was solar powered and the food was absolutely amazing! “La comida huevo fantastico!” I believe is the phrase I told the lady. 3

You came to mind when I saw that Mack, but that seemed the average style of most heavy haulers on the island! If you can imagine, I can’t see them racking up millions of miles when it takes just hours to cross the island...
Pullstart 62,900 #625 Posted August 2, 2020 And here’s my “Little Blue Truck” competition! I saw numerous occasions of two horses in the back of a pickup! I even saw a car with a washer or dryer BUNGEED in/on the trunk! 1
