That will wake the neighbors up early in the morning.  The El Camino sounds  a like like that , but it is the dang belts making a racket or parts getting ready to fall off . They cut outs are nice, back in the olden days you needed wrenches to make the cuts work.  Love the sound.

That is a beauty Jeff...thanks for sharing.  That car sounds wicked cool both ways:bow-yellow:

It reminds me of the 1970 GTO which had cut outs as a factory option and this really cool commercial...

After watching it once and soaking in the classic late 60’s vibe and thinking about the fact that cut outs could actually be a factory option, watch it again to see all the cool muscle cars around the drive in.  Lots of chevys and I think I see a GTX convertible towards the end.

Yep a C2, a C3, 1st gen Camaro, 3rd gen Chevelle ,a GTX ... A few more.    Also found a little spot about the GTO vid... https://www.autoblog.com/2006/12/24/video-the-70-gto-the-humbler/

I popparazzied these trucks around town yesterday and thought I’d share.  The black-ish truck “US Border Patrol” I’ve seen here and there, the red and blue ones were just random sights.  I’d love to have a classic 3+3 Chevy or GMC some day, but Norman does just fine for now!

FYI, when I see these on the road, I guesstimate their location in accordance to the iPad, shoot a bunch of pictures and look for good ones later.  Safety is number one :handgestures-thumbupright:

Yeah Richie, did you toss a magnet at it?  We should keep one tied onto a Mickey Mouse pole for random checks!

Started out to the guys place that has the Wisconsin carburetor when I got sidetracked with a yard full of old farm equipment. Stopped in to introduce myself and got the grand tour.

Interesting fellow, there will be more pictures along with a byline.

Until then here's an interesting 1958 Fargo that's in pretty decent shape, when I showed Pat these pictures she fell in love with the old truck.

Looks to be a 69 GMC pocking its nose to the world.

The vehicle next to it is a 60's Mercedes Benz with a four cylinder diesel engine.

Dodge, the Fargo is the Canadian sister.

Check this out, found while researching the year of the old farm truck.

This is a very rare model of the Fargo called the Sweptside.

I think that someone should save this one from going to the scrap yard, plenty there to work with.

@WVHillbilly520H Thanks for the photos , love the red EL , the 4 wheel drive unit I would not want unless it can with a step ladder. That is one big car show.

That 4x4 one is the most practical El Camino I’ve ever seen!
