Pullstart 62,588 #1252 Posted August 2, 2023 It’s no where’s perfect, but much cleaner! The ribs in the floor, I didn’t know were there! Oil, grease and mouse remains filled ‘em up! I think I’d like to clean the floor enough to give it a little epoxy paint, like appliance black or the like. That stuff is pretty tough and resilient to spill, scratches, etc.
Pullstart 62,588 #1253 Posted August 2, 2023 The cardboard gas tank cover/noise baffle? Was quite stinky. Though intact, it was removed. Rylee’s been away at church camp for a week. It’s good enough to take a 30 minute cruise to go pick her up!

Pullstart 62,588 #1258 Posted August 12, 2023 Drove 75 miles, and topped off at the same pump. 8.2 smiles per gallon Considering Mrs. P’s daily driver gets about that, I’d say not bad for years of storage!
Wheel-N-It 2,968 #1260 Posted August 16, 2023 (edited) A little late to this party, sorry. I'll get some pics of my trucks and post them for you guys. For now though, here's a pic of my freshly painted and buffed 1966 Chevelle. Just got to put it back together and it's finished for this year. I'd like to have it in one show before Winter. The interior is new and it is powered by a 454 BBC with a Muncie 4 speed. Runs great !! Edited August 16, 2023 by Wheel-N-It 3 6

Wheel-N-It 2,968 #1263 Posted August 17, 2023 Found this picture of my 2005 Chevy 2500HD I really like the looks of the "Cat Eye" Chevys. This one has a 6.0 LS gas burner that has been tuned. It does everything I need it to do.. And with the Rancho lift, and 20 inch Mickey Thompsons, the chicks dig it too. LOL 6

I see you at tractor shows, not truck shows. Currently, most of them need some work to get back out again. This was our wedding day (almost 20 years ago), I drove my ‘72 Chevelle and two of my friends that stood up drove my ‘46 and ‘66 trucks. Red with black vinyl top. Would love to still have it today. Bought my current Tacoma just because it had the hood scoop look of the GTO. Also later owned a 1980 El Camino that was cool. This is a one of a kind here!! Edited August 27, 2023 by Sailman 2
Pullstart 62,588 #1275 Posted September 5, 2023 I lined two of the three up by accident. Then I thought “what a photo op!?!?!” ‘69, ‘01 sporting a very similar front end, ‘05 “cat eye” front end. Honestly, I like the ‘01 flavor better than the ‘05. I have another ‘01 red extended cab truck from Texas. I think I’ll hang on to the body until this ‘05 rusts away. The cab swap would be easier than all the required body work in my mind! I sold the box, trying to prove that I could recoup the cost of driving to Texas for a shell holding the engine I needed. Oh how I wish I’d have kept it around! Live and learn. 4
