19richie66 17,500 #982 Posted March 18, 2022 (edited) I found a cab to a GMC of that era that was buried in brush and dirt out on my property. It had been there so long the metal was paper thin in some spots. While clearing some more last weekend, I found the passenger door and part of the hood sheetmetal with the GMC logo still on it. Dash door chrome was perfect. I guess they just pushed it over the little ridge I’m clearing years ago and left it. Haven’t found all the rest. c-series don 8,688 #988 Posted March 19, 2022 I’m not sure if this falls under vintage trucks or equipment or both! Anyway I spotted this Mobile sweeper a few towns over from me and thought it looked pretty cool! Looks like the cab was made by Mobile as well as the sweeper itself, because I saw no other badging on the cab. 4

Gregor 4,846 #996 Posted March 28, 2022 54, 55 56, all had the holes in the fenders. In 1956 they were elongated. I can't tell the difference between the 54 and 55 holes. It may well be a 55.
