cpete1 332 #1 Posted January 3, 2018 A buddy of mine gave me a 42" wheel horse snow plow that was missing the angle lever and appropriate linkage. I made up new stuff from steel I had laying around but need to finish with the link from the lift arm to the plow frame. The frame was also missing the attachment for the link which I can fabricate. I'm assuming the link goes to the lift arm up under the tractor versus using the bar that lifts the mower deck. Is there much difference in lifting height and lift effort if I go to the middle hole? Any guidance would be much appreciated... Chris

cpete1 332 #3 Posted January 3, 2018 (edited) Thanks very much, gives me a bunch of information to help configure the link. I am considering making a long link for down pressure but I think this will get me "where I gotta go".... Many Thanks again, This is one of the best forums I ever joined, A really decent bunch of people here Chris Edited January 3, 2018 by cpete1 3
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,032 #4 Posted January 4, 2018 The parts list for your tractor on the "lift page" shows what the different holes in the bell crank are used for if you go with the longer lift link. Garry

cpete1 332 #8 Posted January 15, 2018 Thanks for the additional information Tankman . Knowing the length made the fabrication much easier. Going to try the different hole locations to see what difference in lift lever effort it makes. The plow works awesome! Chris
