D200 trans- lift problem?

Recommended Posts

skrusins

My good friend has a 1974 D-200 Automatic model 1-0630 .Th e trans seems to be working fine,

but the problem is in the hydraulic lift it isn't working. I know on the Eaton trans there is a seperate

pump for the lift. He says his 200 doesn't have one. Hope I can help him. Thanks and Happy New!  to everyone

If we are talking about the mid mount lift (or 3 point if he has it) they are operated by the charge pump which is a part of the hydro pump that is attached to the engine.  if the tractor runs and drives OK the most likely culprit is the implement lift relief valve.  a broken spring in there or the check valve not seating.  The only hard part of fixing it is getting access to it on a D series.  Check out the Sundstrand manual here
