Lane Ranger 11,125 #1 Posted December 12, 2017 Interesting finds on RJ I bought last week. Schnacke hex nut in good shape, pull rope recoil pulley, oil bath air cleaner attached to a Clinton carburetor! Lots of restore work needed on this one but worth the effort to save it in my opinion! Gas tank appears good too!
953 nut 57,955 #2 Posted December 12, 2017 A few hard to find parts there, too bad people had to sit on the hood! 2
wallfish 17,498 #3 Posted December 12, 2017 The updraft air cleaner is quite the nice find. Looks to be an original gas tank too, which are getting more and more difficult find. You got some really good stuff from that poor old carcass. And an original beige knob throttle control 1

Lane Ranger 11,125 #8 Posted December 15, 2017 Thanks for all the comments! Yes some nice stuff with this one. It goes in storage until the spring but I have some other K90/91 motors and one more complete RJ to redo ahead of this one. When I saw this I knew it was an early one. Still have not looked up date on transmission as I could not get one of the bolts off of the spring in the fender box. Hex head rounded out. One wwheel had the most rusted center I have ever seen. I do have another set of good RJ front wheels for this. THe rear ag tires were actually best I have ever seen and they are B.F. Goodrich Silvertowns.
Sarge 3,464 #9 Posted December 15, 2017 Wonder if that wheel had calcium chloride in it - sure looks like results from leaving it in there for a long time although why it attacked the center is sure odd . Gonna take a lot of filler metal to fix that one...lol . Sarge 1
