WVHillbilly520H 10,374 #26 Posted March 15, 2019 Since Paul @pfrederi started a thread asking advice about firewood I got in the mood to work up some more of the storm damaged trees today while it was nice weather here...the 2cd pic is the tree that barber chaired and about hurt me really bad (but now has been reduced to firewood), last is just how bad the ivy/creeper vines are here behind my house. Still have the big split top to buck up and pull the last limb out of the clutches of the viney trash and and couple more trunks to fell but slowly getting it cut and cleaned up...next is dragging the hydraulic splitter over and making it easy for my parents to handle. 2 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

WVHillbilly520H 10,374 #28 Posted March 29, 2019 (edited) @ebinmaine, @pfrederi, unloaded the yellow locust off trailer, and stacked it and the big wild cherry against the red tractor shed, that's approximately 6' tall and 20' long and I have another trailer load or more to gather and stack up to season out. We are considering making a couple of 8 by 8 sheds and building a holtzhausen in each one of them.
