I recognize that decal on the belt guard. I think it was a buckrancher model sold to Ken B then sold to ? /stevebo and now Sparky. That tractor belongs back in NY! :)

My 854 is my go to tractor, if I'm out cleaning up the yard or headed down to the mailbox. Not quite as pretty as yours but just as loved.

If I remember, @buckrancher rebuilt that tractor so it's better than new! :banana-wrench::banana-wrench:

Yep, this 854 was underwater! Brian did a great thread on the rebuild but unfortunately Photobucket has squashed all the pics in the thread ☹️.

Well done Mike. Looks great. And who cares where it comes from, it is the tractor that counts. My :twocents-02cents:   I have to agree with you on Photobucket. My opinion is this site is the worst. It takes for ever to do anything I took all my picks out of it. Enjoy the tractor.  And may be get it dirty?

I tried to buy that tractor before Brian got it. I was beyond pissed when Snyder’s wouldn’t sell it to me cause I “didn’t have a proper garage” to work in. They are out of business now, and even if they were, I wouldn’t buy water from him in a drought. But anyways, 854 is my favorite, and that machine looks stunning. If mine looked half as good as good as that..

As a retired 61-year-old who inherited 4 of my Grandfather's Wheel Horse tractors, I found a valuable resource in this forum. Here, I connected with Bob Parks (Racinbob), who at the time lived nearby and kindly agreed to help me identify all of them. I ended up keeping the 1964 Model 854 and sold the others. The 854 is a solid, primarily original tractor, and I've been using it since I was 6-years-old. I also had the RM-364 mower deck attachment, which had not been on the tractor for many years. Once again, this forum proved its worth as I could identify and obtain some attachment parts that I was missing. Last week, after some adjustments, I put the mower deck to use and mowed nearly an acre of grass without any issues. The sense of accomplishment in identifying and restoring the equipment was truly inspiring, and I felt like I was a kid again.

As someone who doesn't consider themselves 'mechanically inclined,' I've grown and learned much through this project. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all of those who guided me and showed me that with the right support, even the most daunting tasks can be tackled.

These belts have been hanging in my garage since last used I believe there off a 754 I used to have. Bought them new and didn't use much.
Don't know why I took them off. Some fraying on top in a few places from use, also don't know why but selling as is and photo'd. 20.00 shipped if you can use them.
PM for PayPal info or questions. 16" ID approx.

Okay friends husband and I brought home another mutilated mutation that I felt sorry for and wanted to fix….  Questions will it run??  Lol… what model for sure?  So I believe it’s an 854 and would like feed back to confirm..  lots of stuff coming off… has the k181s tag on the engine!  Two piece gas tank!  So if my friends on here would agree or disagree I would be able to see how much I have been learning over the years!
