I guess diesels just keep going due to the compression and insanely heavy flywheel but now I am getting :offtopic: Srry

@ebinmaine “My seat of the pants dyno” 😀💪 and the flat torque curve look a lot like that of a 292 Chevy or a 300 Ford… “but now I am getting off topic… sorry”.

OH160/OH180 were great engines, comparable to yhe K341 of the day.

Kohler attempted...and failed to produce a similar OHV engine, the K361 OHV...popular on Power Kings and famous fir dropping valve seats on a discontinued head

I'm certainly more than a little curious to see how my 2 perform.

I had a Sears GT/18 with the 18hp variant...the balance wasnt quite right but it was a nice engine.  What got me was the fuel pump built into the carb..mine failed and couldn't at the time find parts

@RED-Z06

I'll have to take a second look at this 16 horse. I know the fuel pump is out in the front of the engine somewhere but I don't ~think~ it was connected to the carburetor??

I have no doubt mine was some kind of rigged up trash...they had a threaded fitting into the carb inlet then over to a metal pump threaded onto an extension.
