"Manic-Mechanic" 1,228 #1 Posted October 9, 2017 (edited) I can only guesstimate this engine is 11hp. Anyone know if the bearing would endure a PTO? What is the value new in the box? Edited October 9, 2017 by Oldman
Achto 28,805 #2 Posted October 9, 2017 You're correct in your estimate of 11hp. The crank on that engine is supported by roller bearings, so I believe that it should handle the PTO with no issues. 1

Achto 28,805 #4 Posted October 9, 2017 that engine is a bit older, but here is a current price on a 12hp model. https://www.jackssmallengines.com/jacks-parts-lookup/part/robin/ex350de5012 Spoiler
R. L. Addison 299 #5 Posted October 9, 2017 Check to see how heavy the bearing/seal caps are. I have an AENLD Wisconsin that I would not trust in the long run as it has stamped sheet-metal rertainers.

Achto 28,805 #7 Posted October 10, 2017 That should make a good replacement engine. The company I work for used the Robin engine in some of their generators for a while, they were the quietest 3600rpm gens that we made. We stopped using them only after getting out of the portable gen market.
