proshop 0 #1 Posted February 14, 2009 My carb is flooding. I took the top needle screw out and noticed that the end point was flaired out,so I tried to make it into a point again and well it still floods.i'm not sure what would cause the end of the adgusting screw to get flaired out,and not so sure that it is the reason why it floods. where can i get a needle screw, the seat it goes through (jet) and rebuild kit? Rideawaysenior 25 #2 Posted February 14, 2009 I would look into a rebuild kit. If your machine is flooding, I wouldn't be suprised if your float is out of adjustment too causing the valve to remain open. Sounds to me like a carb rebuild might be your best bet anyway. Easy to do and not crazy expencive.

Rod(NASNUT) 1 #4 Posted February 15, 2009 Check your float to see if it has gas in it when you buy a rebuild kit get a new float also. As for the top needle screw someone has turned it in to far and flaired the end out when you turn it in I do it by hand.
