5053 transmission

I'm replacing the axle seal and bearings in my 3 speed unidrive and need to know if the old seals and bearings were originally one piece because the book shows #1232 seal and #1528 needle bearing the ones I removed were one piece the brake shaft is the same way

I would sure like to see a picture of what you think are a one piece bearing and seal.  I know of no 1 piece bearing and seal for any wheel horse transmission.  I can give you a list of all the bearings and seals that is takes to replace in a #5053 transmission.

If I could see a picture of the 1232 seal it would help or had the dimensions of it

That may look like it's just one piece but it's two. The seal can be easily picked out with a small screwdriver and the new one installed. As long as there's no axle slop no further disassembly required.

Here ya go.    That seal is only about 1/8" thick.
