18 Auto/woods rm 42

Hello,

     the Woods RM42 is purported to run CCW and at a 2000, RPM PTO.

I would like to use thus on my 18 Auto is it practical at only 42 inch?

Not sure about being practical - that's about the same width as the D itself...lol . I'm sure if the pto shaft with couple with it's drive box - it should work though . Forgot Woods even made one that small...

would it help with brush, or ls it a finish mower?

Google it.  Looks to me like the replacement blades $75 a pair are a bush hog not a finish mower  probably why it is so narrow.  woods still makes single spindle rotary cutters in 42 inch width.

So it'll work on the wheel horse? Is it worth $400.00? I found out this model woods is for the John Deere 400 as the PTO is 840.
