I noticed seeing badges in members signature saying "520 Club Member" I thought that I would introduce a more formal 520 club to see how it goes.  You are free to join and participate in the 520 Club banter, and remember discussion outside of 520's is discouraged!

Ok now that I have joined I have a question, can I replace the solenoid on my 520 that is near the starter with a ford style solenoid?

Can anyone else be a 520 club member that bought theirs brand new and still owns it like me? The anniversary 520H and then they just multiply, Jeff.

 I bought this 1997 brand new in the crate in 1998. Unfortunately a couple years ago I thought I was getting out of mowing and sold it. Since then I inherited my dad's 161 and have gotten a few more afterwards.

Neat idea and thank you Karl. I just invited a couple of other members I know have 520's. Of course you realize our  brothers with other models are going to want a club!

There is a drawback about model specific clubs, and that is posting about issues which are not unique to the model (which just about any is).   The 520 is a test to see how this goes, but what may make more sense is a Mid-Western Club, New England Club, or even by state where location specific items can be discussed (weather, snow, shows etc) instead of model specific items.

Just realized there was a 520 club. I recently purchased a 1995 520H with 48" deck and a Snow Thrower. Working on replacing wiring connections that are corroded, and redoing seat. He just needs a good rubdown & some sugar cubes. My Mares (see profile pics) love him. Otherwise great running tractor. Can't wait to try out the Snow Thrower this winter. Love the sound of that Onan. Just a thought, if more clubs were added, make them by the model years. ie '64' Club.

Never had a snow that I could NOT remove with the tall chute single, it may have clogged a few times on DOT plow banks but non the less still chucked a respectable 20'+, enjoy.

My 95 520H ready for snow. Just recently got the ignition module and ring replaced. Diffently a day job. Fabbed up the 60'S cab to fit. This year keeping from looking like a snowman.

Really happy to see a “520 Club”!!

i puller the deck off my ‘88 and got the blower, chains, and makeshift weights installed on mine.. tractor is ready for snow..

me? Not so much.
