Duramax7man7 506 #1 Posted September 1, 2017 Hello fellas, Thinking a bit into the future for the garden and was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for removing rock and gravel from garden soil? I can always make a large sifter and go section by section. but if I could make something to speed the process up by pulling it through the soil first, that would be excellent. Thanks.

Sarge 3,464 #4 Posted September 2, 2017 I spent a whole week working on a site with a skid steer and front mounted rock hound clearing out the soil in preparation for seeding - huge solar farm that was getting a special grass that stays short and will choke out weeds . The extra work was done because of the cost of that seed - the stuff was horribly expensive . Sarge
WVHillbilly520H 10,376 #5 Posted September 2, 2017 The "york" rake from Sears for the clevis hitch works for "bigger" stone and if you fab up a flat bar across the teeth you can set the depth and keep more stone coming forward than falling through, Jeff.
