rjg854 11,572 #3 Posted August 29, 2017 Would a clear coat finish keep you from having to do that for a while? Looking right nice

elcamino/wheelhorse 9,358 #5 Posted August 30, 2017 Ed , You were showing us how to polish hub caps and @roadapples looks at the seat. Think he is more interested in comfort than work. 3

I had to flip the seats tilting base plate over to clear the sliding seat adjusters locking lever. That exposed the four spacers that are normally hidden by the vertical sides of the base plate. Those two rubber bumpers are parts of a boat trailer roller. 13 minutes ago, elcamino/wheelhorse said: Ed , You were showing us how to polish hub caps and @roadapples looks at the seat. Think he is more interested in comfort than work. It actually took more time to fix the seat than polish the hub caps. The slide rails and bearings were locked up with rust and hadn't worked for a long time. Edited August 30, 2017 by Ed Kennell
