Bertie 314 #1 Posted August 24, 2017 Need to replace the current rear turf tyres 23x8.50-12 and thought about something a little bigger/wider without going crazy.... Doesn't have to be a turf tire as it will be doing more than cutting grass etc any suggestions guys...
ebinmaine 68,871 #2 Posted August 24, 2017 I'm a big fan of Name-brand AG's. They are sometimes as much as twice the price of cheepos but My experiences have just been better. Questions: What is the most common usage of your tractor? Do you EVER slip or lose traction while on grass you care about? Damage from spinning AG's would be a consideration. Do you use/have chains already?
Anglo Traction 761 #3 Posted August 24, 2017 I used Duro and shoe-horned 10.5" 4ply HF255 TLs onto 7" wide rims (tubeless). Reduces outer diameter slightly, but no issues with clearance on a 74 C-120- As you're in the UK, here is an example retailer of this Brand (other available) and gives you an idea of the costs. N3PUY 1,031 #4 Posted August 24, 2017 My 310-8 has 10.50 turfs and that tractor goes anywhere! The 312-8 has ags and they slip on packed ground and pavement but work fine in deep loose dirt.
