rdeanrj58 68 #1 Posted August 23, 2017 I have a 1989 Ford lgt 18h ( my only non WH ). It's a very rugged well built tractor but having trouble with hydro. Moves fine but the lift is not working. I've had the system opened ( replaced leaking hoses etc) . Is there some way to bleed the system? Could this be the problem? I think it is a Peerless 2500
Molon_Labe 731 #2 Posted August 29, 2017 Those Fords are nice tractors, yours should have an Eaton 11 series hydro in it coupled to the Peerless 2500. The first thing I'd check would be the relief spring in the lift control valve, if it's broken you won't have any lift pressure.
