eibbed 63 #1 Posted February 9, 2009 Gentlemen, I asked the owner of a local lawn mower repair shop if he would sell me the seat that was on the riding Wheelhorse tractor that had been parked outside his building for over a year. He told me that he would sell me the whole tractor and mower for $60.00. So I of course came home with a very rusty and pitted 1972 Workhorse 800 with a very airy mower deck and an 8HP Tecumseh that hasn't been started in years and of course a real nice vinyl seat with no rips or tears in it. To insure that the tractor was complete, he was generous enough to include the electric clutch that he had previously removed with plans to sell it on Ebay. My question is; what other brands and horsepowers, if any, is my electric clutch compatable to? Thanks, Dave
eibbed 63 #2 Posted February 9, 2009 Correction! My previous post should have read; 1971 Workhorse 800.
eibbed 63 #3 Posted February 24, 2009 I bolted on the electric PTO clutch today and it looks to me like they are universal as long as they have juice, an on/off switch and the shaft is the right diameter.
