JebMahone 1 #4 Posted August 10, 2017 Thanks. I'm seeing a fair number of peerless 4 speeds 920-029. Does anyone know if they will work in place of my original 5 speed transaxle? The thing blew up when I put it in reverse last night. It was rather violent, broke chunks out of the case all around the differential. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
stevasaurus 22,878 #5 Posted August 10, 2017 There is a Peerless manual or 2 in the Manuals Section "Transmissions". I don't know much about them, but I have looked through the manuals. don't quote me here, but I have the feeling that a 900 series Peerless is a 900 series Peerless and will bolt right on...linkage may need some fabrication.
