ACman 7,628 #7 Posted August 8, 2017 Nice Allis The only thing Allis about those three tractors is the stickers and paint but they were all good tractors. The 5050 is a Italian stallion made by Fiat . We still use our 5050 with MFWD 4WD and loader on the farm and was the pooper scooper 💩 until we sold off the cows . The other two are Japanese made by Hinomoto . Simplicity and Massey Ferguson also used them for their SCUT's . Just a quick history lesson . keep the pics coming Mike !

elcamino/wheelhorse 9,358 #10 Posted August 9, 2017 @squonk Who did you steal the big truck from ? Too bad it would not fit under the canopy. 2

He's there every year in the flea market selling old rail road stuff. Signals, lanterns, locomotive parts. Big stuff! He had a friend stop by with a decked out 50's Mack cabover a few years ago.
squonk 41,741 #12 Posted August 9, 2017 (edited) First day in the books; The site with Bruce's tractors added Cool IH some pullers feature area Keeping with tradition, Picking up a pizza on a round hood! And keeping with tradition. A pageant can't go by without me having a problem with a tractor. I got about as far a way from my spot on the 701 and it quit. I had to push it all the way back. Needle and seat will be going in tomorrow! The show dash plaque has a lever steer Economy and a roundhood on it. How cool is that! It looks like he's borrowed the look of mid to late '70's IH farm tractors (headlights, grille, white stripe, etc.). I like it! Thanks!
squonk 41,741 #15 Posted August 10, 2017 (edited) Day 2. Got carb fixed as old needle just fell apart! Mikey the Monkey. buckrancher and Jo stopped by and Brian still needs to get me that cupholder! Ed, The pullers were covered up all day so no pics. will try tomorrow. This guy built this out of a CC and slapped a big honkin Wisconson on her. He needed a little help hauling a tiller to his site. And for Steve and Doug, I picked up another Monkey! This is Delos. I named it after a past Steam Engine Assoc. president who passed away a few weeks ago. He is sorely missed at the show. ACman 7,628 #19 Posted August 11, 2017 Keep them coming Mike! @WHX12 Jim it looks like Lennox actually made something worth using ! These were made in 63-64 by the Lennox furnace company . Heck I want one and I never did liked working on a Lennox . Nowadays though all brands are junk. Just like my $3000 dollar fridge that lasted a whole 1 1/2 years . Manufacter said it's out of warranty and my appliance insurance said it would be over $600 just to diagnose the problem (internal freon leak so they say) so they'd just cut me a check for $600 !
WHX?? 49,599 #20 Posted August 11, 2017 Interesting. ..did Lennox actually make them or just slap their name on someone elses. They do like to do that. Thanks for taking us along fellas

WHX?? 49,599 #23 Posted August 11, 2017 I am going to have to research that now, maybe find one for my dealership! What you don't like Pulses Mike, sounds like they may have a few at "the institution" you have to work on!

Jim you could use that mini dozer to pull out one of those Williamson 5-in1's if they used them around your parts . Now those were tanks... oh the nightmares of getting them out of a basement . Sometimes I thought they built the house around it . Piece by piece until just the heat exchanger was left and it seemed like it still weighed 400 pounds ! Ok enough HVAC talk let's get back to our featured presentation...Mike roll camera
squonk 41,741 #25 Posted August 11, 2017 I'm running out of RS cards to hand out. We had a bunch of old guys hanging out under "The Big Coleman " a short time ago. It reminded me of Floyd's Barber Shop on Andy Griffith. I had to jump on the 701 before a political discussion broke out!
