953 nut 56,159 #2 Posted August 4, 2017 You can pick up a kit that contains a cleaner/rust inhibitor and an epoxy sealer at any good motorcycle shop; cost about $ 50.00. If you have only light rust and no leaks they should be able to sell just a sealer for $ 20.00. Check to get an idea of what is out there.
N3PUY 1,031 #3 Posted August 4, 2017 I like to use BBs. Dump in a 1000 or so and shake, shake, shake. They get into tight corners better than nuts and bolts.

JPWH 6,146 #5 Posted August 5, 2017 You may want to also look at POR 15 gas tank sealer. I used the sealer in an 854 gas tank and have had no problems so far. Been 1 1/2 years now. I did not use the cleaner and rust inhibitor though. I bought a half pint and had half of it left over.

It was the first set I had found in five years. They are a two piece weight that bolts directly to the hub on the inside.
