Bahmi 5 #1 Posted July 24, 2017 I want to replace the belt on my 312-8 and I emailed a dealer. He said the deck had some numbers on it on the back side middle. I found no numbers. However, the deck appears no wider than the outside of the front tires. Would that make it 36 or 37 inches wide? This information allows the dealer to fit the tractor with the proper belt. daveoman1966 3,762 #3 Posted July 24, 2017 If the deck has 3 spindles (blades), then it is a 36" deck. If only 2 spindles (blades), then it is a 37" The 37" also has the deck spindles on TOP of the deck...36" decks, the spindles are bolted onto the bottom side.
