aHorseofCourse 261 #1 Posted July 7, 2017 Tires seem to be a hot topic on this forum so I just wanted to share what I found at the big show. 16 7.50 8. OTR Lawn Trac 4 ply. They are a little over 7" wide and seem really nice. Have them mounted on the larger 520 front wheels. The turfs in the pic are Carlisle of the same size. They are the same width but the OTRs are a bit taller. I couldn't be happier with them. These are the original Carlisles that were on These are compared to the 16 6.50 I have on now
Retired Wrencher 5,464 #2 Posted July 7, 2017 aHorseofCourse They look good What are you going to use them for? Just dirt use?

Hoping they steer better in the snow and hold better on the hills.

Sarge 3,463 #5 Posted July 8, 2017 You won't regret running ags in the front - I'm a fan of them due to the extra traction in just about all conditions . It's nice to be able to angle a front blade and have the tractor actually steer it where you want to go , instead of the other way around . Sarge

Notice your rear tires have a straight traction bar and your new fronts have a curve in the bar. That's great for steering. I think you'll be more than impressed. With that curve steering in reverse should be good as well.

Same size just different tread pattern on the new wheels, 16 7.50-8. I have 16 6.50-8 on my tractor now on the old wheels.
