Loose steering shaft, here is the part to fix it.

I found this little bronze gem below at TSC, cost $4.00 and is a perfect fit for the usually worn out plastic shaft collar. It is a Hillman part, so likely available at various stores stocking hardware. If your shaft is painted, you will need to sand it down to bare steel for it to slide down to the shaft collar stop. Part number and size in the pics.
