Racinbob 11,238 #4 Posted July 1, 2017 Definitely a 1961 551, The 2 piece transmission case gives it away. What you need is the 3523 gear and possibly the 3424 input gear/shaft. Since you're going to open it up I'd suggest that you do that first so you can inspect things. stevasaurus 22,881 #5 Posted July 3, 2017 Is this the horse you are talking about in the shout box that you need the guard for. One of our vendors here makes reproductions of the guard. I thought I had some pictures from Howard @857 horse that show what you can do if you do not have a belt guard. Those pictures are now being held hostage by Photobucket.
