Buzz 502 #1 Posted June 26, 2017 I found that carburetor screw that you lost. I saw him working on his motorcycle muttering "I need a screw....." Found it.
elcamino/wheelhorse 9,297 #2 Posted June 27, 2017 I thought he needed the baling wire to fix the carb.
Achto 27,562 #3 Posted June 27, 2017 I've seen this in an engine myself. It was from a carburetor butterfly screw. I banked that lesson and always remember to split the end of a butterfly screw a little with a chisel to keep it from working its way out. 1 hour ago, Buzz said:
wallfish 16,994 #4 Posted June 27, 2017 Funny @Buzz! Nice to see you again and glad you were able to make it. Just wish you did see that part about the missing screw! So far no crazy noises. I'll get in there and find it. 2 hours ago, elcamino/wheelhorse said: I thought he needed the baling wire to fix the carb. I would've definitely used it if it would work. Unfortunately that wire was just way too long. It did get used to band-aid someone's tie rod until they could find a good one from a vendor.
