rmaynard 15,767 #3 Posted June 17, 2017 A-85, A-115, 876 & 877.
salty57 2 #4 Posted June 17, 2017 Need for 857 but will work for 856, 867, 875, 876 etc. brake clutch spring part number 5714. Could have one made but picture in manual only shows one end and no dimensions. Desperate need so can mow lawn that is now 24+ inches tall.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,159 #5 Posted June 17, 2017 This may help. A replacement part number is listed in the first post. Garry
rmaynard 15,767 #6 Posted June 17, 2017 (edited) Here is a drawing from McMaster-Carr of the 9433K111 spring as mentioned in the previous post. I have used these on many models. Edited June 17, 2017 by rmaynard
salty57 2 #7 Posted June 17, 2017 Wow I seriously appreciate the quick responses. Placed the order on McMaster Carr already. Deal with them for work and didn't think about them but would not have known what I needed without you since the spring fell apart completely and couldn't find all of it.... Thanks again Salty57
Racinbob 11,386 #8 Posted June 17, 2017 I hope there isn't some confusion here. The 5714 spring is for the pto pedal on the right. The brake/clutch spring on the left side is now a 1014 (now a 108035). I could see how this mistake could be made looking at the drawing. I just wanted to mention this so, if a mistake was made, less time is lost.
salty57 2 #9 Posted June 17, 2017 Racinbob: Thank you for your clarification. Fortunately the 5714 is the one I need. But it is good to know the other side # has changed and what the replacement number is. Will be putting that in my book for future reference. Again thank you for you efforts.
